Terry Eames returned to the Speedbowl in 2009 after 2 1/2 seasons away with a new group of people on his operating team. He formed a Board of Directors that included former competitor Tom Fox, who became an official in 2008. Fox was promoted to Race Director in 2009 and was also the track’s GM. Other board members included Brian Darling and former X-car competitor Mark Caise, who both handled marketing, promotions, website, sponsorship, business development and fan engagement.

Fox would leave after 2010, with Scott Tapley and later Patrick Williams also holding the Race Director position. Terry Eames was remarried and his wife Yokasta became the GM after Fox left. The announcing team was Matt Buckler, Dave Baribeault and John Gates. Program publisher Sid DiMaggio expanded into video work, creating a series called “Sid’s View” for his YouTube channel that featured the track’s Saturday events.

After years of hosting various incarnations of the regional truck series, the Speedbowl started their own Truck division in 2009 that ran initially on both Saturday and Wednesday nights. That year the Bandoleros were also added as a regular division for the Wednesday series. In 2011, the X-Modifieds were officially rebranded as SK Lights with rules revised to mirror Stafford Speedway’s. The NASCAR Modified Tour returned in 2012 with the popular Mr. Rooter 161. The inaugural event drew the biggest crowd since the first Wings N’ Wheels event.

However, Eames was still battling financial issues behind the scenes during his 2nd tenure, and ultimately he lost the track via property foreclosure auction in October 2014, the same day as that season’s last event. Eames would later spend a couple of seasons as GM of Thompson Speedway before relocating to Florida. His 18 total seasons as track operator is the most by any single individual, passing original Speedbowl owner Tony Albino by 1 season.
