

Anthony Flannery’s Speedbowl career started in the Legend Car division where he scored his first feature wins (2) in 2009. For the following season, he purchased Jason Palmer’s Legend Car, fresh off a 22 win season, and continued that car’s winning ways. He scored a total of 20 wins, including a Speedbowl record 13 consecutive between the Saturday and Wednesday series. He also swept both Legend Car Championships that season.

He moved up to the Late Models for the 2011 season, winning his first feature on May 21st and earning Rookie of the Year honors. He would win again in 2012 before taking two seasons off to study Automotive Technology at UNOH. Returning to the ‘bowl Late Models in 2015, he continued his winning ways, including a career high 7 wins in 2018 when he won the track championships. He has 17 career wins in the Late Models at Waterford.

Anthony was the 2021 SK Modified Rookie of the Year and won his first race in the division the following season. He won a division-leading 4 races in 2023 and 2024, the latter season in which he also clinched the track championship. He joined Allen Coates and Keith Rocco as the only drivers to win championships in 3 different divisions.
