Tyler Chadwick moved to the Speedbowl after years of racing quarter midgets at the Little T at Thompson Speedway. With his father Jeff as his car owner/crew chief, Tyler started out in the X-Modifieds in 2004 when he was 16 years old.
He moved quickly into the SK Modifieds the following year. Then in 2008 he won his first SK Modified race, 4 days before his 20th birthday. It started a decade run where he won 25 races from 2008-2016. His biggest win was the $5,000 to win Budweiser Modified Nationals in 2014. He also won the 100 lap SK portion of the Pepsi 300 in back-to-back seasons (2012-2013).

Tyler’s career year was the 2012 season when he won 5 times and held off Jeff Pearl to clinch the SK Modified Championship. At the time, he became the youngest SK Modified champ in track history.
Chadwick raced a handful of times in 2017, then quietly left the Speedbowl scene. His 25 SK Modified wins were 6th best all-time when he retired. Only Keith Rocco had more wins in the division during the 2010’s.
