Voglesong won X-car races in 9 different seasons between 2003-2013, leading the division in wins in 2007 (5), 2011 (5) and 2013 (7). He also won the X-Car Championship a record 3 times (2007, 2008, 2013) and never finished worse than 3rd in points from 2002-2013.

Brad had a record 29 feature wins in the X-Car division driving his familiar white #87. He also won the X-Car Saturday Showdown Championship in 2013, which awarded points for a handful of races held on Saturday nights that season. Brad also has Demolition Derby wins and often competed in Wacky races during Wild N’ Wacky Wednesday events.

His wife Lisa ran numerous Women on Wheels races from 2005-2010, usually driving Brad’s X-car in the 4-cylinder class. She scored 3 straight wins in 2005 and won Women on Wheels Championships in both the 4-cylinder (2005) and 8-cylinder (2006) classes.

By the mid 2010’s, both Brad & Lisa retired from competition, yet remained active at the Speedbowl in numerous off-the -track activities to support track management. Whether it was coordinating autograph sessions, pit parties, pre-race ceremonies or a variety of several other fan engagement activities, the Voglesongs were always willing to support the track to get people involved in the Speedbowl’s events. They were often involved in coordinating Wacky race for the Wild N’ Wacky Wednesday series or helping out during the Family Fun shows during holiday weekends throughout the race season.

After a decade of good ambassadors to the Waterford Speedbowl, Brad & Lisa retired from the Speedbowl scene after the 2025 season.
