Ray Christian III

Ray Christian III has won in numerous fendered divisions over 3 different decades at the Speedbowl. “RC3” started out in the Mini Stock division driving a team car to Ken Cassidy Jr. He won twice in his first season and took home Rookie of the Year honors. He would go on to win 7 more times in the division through the 2015 season.

Ray first raced in the Late Models during the 2013 season driving Ted Butler’s #27. Driving his own #93 Late Model in 2015, he finished 5th in points and followed it up with his first 3 wins in 2016. Ray then spent the next few years competing on the American-Canadian Tour and Granite State Pro Stock Series. He won a GSPPS event back at the Speedbowl in 2018.

Ray returned to the Speedbowl after the global pandemic and won 15 races from 2021-2023 including the 2022 Late Model Championship. Ray and Jason Palmer had many entertaining battles during this period.

Christian returned to his roots in 2025 and ran a Mini Stock for a full season, taking down 6 victories and earning his first Mini Stock Championship. He joined Bruce Thomas Jr as the only Speedbowl drivers with both a Late Model and Mini Stock championship.

Ray has already won 35 races and 2 track championships in 2 different divisions at the Speedbowl as of 2025. His mother Kathy, brother Jake and step-father Jeff “Soup” Civardi have all won races at the Speedbowl as well.
